📋Instructions
- 1Set the crew: row at steady state so they're ready to respond.
- 2Call the power ten: e.g. 'In two, power ten on this one … one, two, now! Ten … nine …'.
- 3Count down: count each stroke (ten, nine, eight …) so the crew know how many are left.
- 4Focus the ten: e.g. 'Legs', 'Send', 'Together' on different strokes to give a technical focus.
- 5Settle: after ten, call 'settle' and return to the previous pressure and rate.
💡Tips
- ✓Vary when you call it (after a turn, mid-piece) so they get used to responding under fatigue.
- ✓Keep the tone confident and clear; the crew will mirror your energy.
